Sun City and Valley of the Waves entrance fees
Rates are effective as of the 01 December 2017 until 30 November 2018
Please note this: There are baboons & monkeys running around at the Sun City complex. Though the monkeys are just mischievous, in general they are not really a threat, but will bite you if you have food in your hand. I did find one years ago going through my now ex-wife's' handbag in our room at the Palace on the 2nd floor. However, the baboons can be pretty dangerous. In Dec 2014 I saw baboons blatantly stealing food on the beach at the valley of the waves. They just sauntered nonchalantly through at least 200 people, and took the 1st food on sight. So when you buy your pizza, finish it, and don't leave any unfinished piece visible. And don't try and protect your food, as you will probably get bitten. On our way out a security guard ran physically over my 6 yo daughter fleeing from the largest male baboon I've ever seen. Though she went flying one way and was hurt, & his walkie talkie flew the other way, he didn't apologize - he just said "they go for the green jackets"... Sun City will need to address this problem, as it has become worse over the years. I believe the least they should do is put up awareness signs -March 2018 this has still not been done..

Adults (13yrs -59): R 160 & peak R190
Children (4yrs to 12 yrs): R 70 & peak R80
Children (3yrs and younger): Free
Senior Citizens (60 years +): R 80 & peak R85
