Please Note that there has to be 4 signed booking forms/disclaimers with credit card details,
and not just bookings for 4 pax before the booking is confirmed (again, weather permitting)
You will get picked up if staying at the lodges or camps at Pilanesberg. So what to do is always
have more than 1 day available, and to book far in advance as to make up the numbers!

Balloon Safari only  R5000pp For rates for balloon plus day trip , just add the 2, but you can take 5% off the day trip price when you book the balloon through us.

Offered daily in the morning, depending on the weather and number of passengers. Guests are collected at their hotel and taken through the park to rendezvous with the balloon crew. Flights are approximately an hour's duration and on landing sparkling wine is served. A leisurely game drive is then taken through the park to a game lodge where breakfast is served, after which guests are returned to their hotel.

Flights are early in the morning and you need to allow some 4 hours for the full activity which includes the following:

• Early morning collection from your hotel by safari vehicle.
• Launch of the balloon from the centre of the park.
• An hour drifting serenely over the park.
• A sparkling wine celebration on landing, a time-honoured tradition in ballooning.
• A Full English breakfast at a Private Game Lodge.
• A First Flight certificate signed by your Pilot.
• Return transfer to your hotel.

DURATION: 45 min - 1 hr flight, +/- 4 hrs in total
COST: R5000 per person (45 min - 1 hour flight)
R4 100 per person (2x½ hour flights - groups min 20 people)

Balloon Safari only R5000pp
Get picked up at Sun City or any Lodge or Resort, 4h00 in summer, 5h00 in winter.
You enter the Park 1 hour before normal opening time.
Balloon gets set up next to Mankwe dam and you ascend just before sunrise.
Flight last about 1 hour after which you have some sparkling wine.
You then return to Bakubung for a full English breakfast.
Note that this rate is applicable for departures from Sun City & Pilanesberg only

Children policy: They are welcome at the same rate but they have to be 1,2 m tall - 4 Ft!!
If 4 and over they will be able to go along on the support vehicle with the guide following the balloon at R500, subject to them behaving and obeying the guide re safety issues. Under 4 yo unfortunately no go.
