Park Manyane Accommodation Rates 2019/20

The Resort have camping & caravan sites, and on the Eastern side 20 x 2 man basic safari tents with 2 single beds in, also a kettle, 2 cups & a small fridge - all with shared ablution blocks.
The Chalets are on the Northern
side of the Reception & Restaurant. They are normally attached to 1 other,
not freestanding.
There are only
12 x 2 bed chalets called studios, and 24 x 4 bed chalets available, code 1B4,
as there are beds for 4 persons. No Sleeper couches.
The 2 bed chalet/studio
has 2 x 3/4 beds only and the bathroom is quite cramped, with ny a kettle &
2 cups, small fridge - shower only, no bath.
A 1B4 has a double room (not en suite) with 2 singles in a small loft. As in
Bakgatla it has steep stairs, loft not recommended for children under 6yo.
Normally have a stand in the bath shower.
All the Resort Chalets
can be booked through me at roughly 11% under the market Rack rate, as I get
a commission & I'll split it with you.
The minimum stay over a weekend is 2 nights, same as at the Pilanesberg Lodges
and at Sun City
Then there are some self
catering timeshare units - they are all privately owned & run seperately
from the Resort. Most have a 2nd extra bathroom, and all the couches are sleeper
couches. As at Kwa Maritane & Bakgatla, they are only suitable for kids.
If you sleep on them as an adult, you need to sleep the "wrong" way
round with your feet between the armrests as there is a ridge that nails you
in your back. The Sun City and Bakubung units have great beds that are more
suitable for adults, even though they sell it as "for kids". Kitchenwise
they are fully equipped, but microwave & no oven.
There are 14 x 1B4/6 sleeper, but 3 only have 1 bathroom, so exactly the same
except for an extra bathroom, and that the lounge couch is a sleeper couch.
There are also 12 x 2B6/8's - they have an additional twin room. These beds
are on tiles & not movable. The 2nd bathroom is normally en suite on the
twin.
With all units you have have the shower in the bath, except with unit 60 that
has a separate shower.
These units are available through myself for 3 night weekends Fr - Su
night, and 4 night midweek modules, Mo - Th nights.
They are fully self catering and the is absolutely no meals included. You can
stock up at the Caravan Shop, or use the restaurant.
You pay for the whole module even if you stay a shorter time - this is not negotioble
or flexible at all. Follow this link to book.
The big plus/pro at Manyane is that it is the only Resort that have "tame"
game walking around between the Chalets, especially at night. They also have
self guided hiking trails, and that won't cost you a cent. The minus/con at
Manyane is that sometimes on weekends the Village outside pump the music, especially
at month end. This is more the campers problem, the Chalets keep most the noise
out. The 2nd thing is scavenging baboons - you are warned not to leave the Chalet
windows open. Lastly don't let your young kids run around at night. No one will
warn you, but there are leopard there. I've seen a kill (after) right behind
the Chalets, have seen the tracks, and have met over 20 people that have seen
leopard there...so also don't go jogging in the dark.
There is a caravan shop at the campsite; open Park gate times, normally later on weekends.
The closest Supermarket is out the gate, right, over the stop (Garage) for about 1km and you'll see a centre on your right - there is a Shoprite.
Kgama butchery been closed at least 5 years now.
For punctures fix your tyres at Bop Tyres open till 12h00 Saturdays - from the Garage turn left away from S/City, about 3 or 4 km's. BUT, please note that some Saturdays they just don't open. In this case it is closer to go to Northam than to Rustenburg.
For breakdowns expect to pay around R350pp to Gametrackers to take you out the Park. The Park itself will normally tow you out for free, but then you are on your own - 014 555 1600 but you won't have reception. More than half the breakdowns are from rock hitting oil sumps on low clearance cars.
The Restaurant opens at 7h00 for breakfast till 10h00 in the week, and 11h00 on weekends and public holidays. Note that the last kitchen order is at 21h00 (9pm). If you come from Jo'burg at 19h00/7pm, then eat before you leave.
Resort Chalet rates are with breakfast, or with no self catering rates except with some timeshare chalets we can normally get. We book breakfast only, add R180pp for Supper
. To book payment to us in full within 48 hours after we confirm availability please, if after, we can not guarrantee space.
Peak season: 2018/9: All weekends, school holidays are at weekend rate
As from November 2017, new bookings over R1000 @ Rack rates as below minus 12%.
Full payment required for these rates - book, pay within 48 h, get confirmed & it's done and dusted! Add 2% for cash deposits, R150 for Overseas Transfers.

Please note that staying Friday or Saturday you have to pay for 2 nights min, same at all Hotels, Lodges and Resorts in the area.
CANCELLATION POLICY: In writing only, e-mails accepted, must be acknowledged.
25% mimimum non refundable if cancelled by you at any time. 100% refundable if by us - this has never happened !.

Jan 2019 - It might seem like quite a jump especially re camp sites, but the last 3 years the yearly increases were minimal.
MANYANE RESORT - 1 April 2019 till 31 March 2020- add 1% additional VAT rate from 1 April 2018
+ PEAKChildren under 12 yr sharing - free accommodation, pay only R78 per child for b/f, or R195 for b/f + dinner. Below 4 - no charge.

Note 3 : There are D, B&B rates available. I don't display it as you can just take the buffet, works out roughly the same, but this leaves you free to bbq at night, or eat a la carte for probably less.

The 1B4 is now a 1B4/6, 7 with 1 bathroom & 7 with 2 bathrooms, and also 12 x 2B6/8's with 2 bathrooms.
