CHILDREN; Children under the age of 12 are permitted on safari at the sole discretion of the manager or guide. Children under the age of 6 are not permitted on safari and, where possible, a kiddies safari will be arranged between normal safari times. Baby sitting can be arranged at the lodge at an additional charge.

Single supplement – 50% of the per person sharing rate. Children under the age of 12 years – 50% of the per person sharing rate when sharing with two adults. 12yo and over deemed to be an adult. Executive suite rate permits two adults per night, no single supplement applies. Children sharing with adults in executive suites will be charged 50% of the standard suite sharing rate. Private Villa features 4 standard rooms, all en suite and can accommodate 8. Villa also has private pool, private ranger and game viewer, and lounge with tv. Meals enjoyed at the Lodge.
Rate inclusions; Accommodation, all meals, teas & snacks and two daily safari activities. Rate exclusions; Conservation levy of R100.00 per guest per stay, all drinks and items of a personal nature.

As for Ivory Tree Game Lodge, Ivory Tree's vehicles and the Ivory Tree rangers:
Ivory Tree game lodge is a bit of a mix between Tshukudu and Bakubung & Kwa. They are situated right in the north against a mountain opposite the Bakgatla resort. Though they only opened end Feb 2004 this place is cooking. They have stolen the best guides in the park from the other lodges and elsewhere, have even tried to steal me..... Their rangers are people persons and have a great attitude. Clients normally get given 1 guide for their duration, and probably will share with other clients. Vehicles are also small & open. The whole experience is very personal.
