HOT AIR BALLOON SAFARIS Our Hot Air Balloon Safaris are offered every morning. Guests are collected at their hotel and taken through the park to rendezvous with the balloon crew. The flight is approximately an hour’s duration and on landing sparkling wine and orange juice is served. A leisurely game drive is then taken through the park to a game lodge where breakfast is served, after which guests are returned to their hotel. Flights are early in the morning and you will need to allow for approximately 5 hours for the full experience.

*Please note: Booking is essential and a minimum number of guests are required to conduct a flight. Due to safety precautions, no adult or child permitted should they be at a height of less than 1, 2 metres. The flight is weather dependent.
BUSH WALK (PILANESBERG NATIONAL PARK) Our bush walk experience focuses on locating and observing the inhabitants of the Pilanesberg National Park from a different angle - on foot. Guests are accompanied by a registered guide who will share his/her extensive knowledge and experience on both fauna and flora along various hiking trails. Excursion depart daily in the early morning.

FAMILY BUSH WALKS (LETSATSING GAME PARK) Our guided family walks gives the whole family a chance to explore Letsatsing Game Park on foot. It is a 700Ha reserve with plenty of wildlife such as Wildebeest, Impala, Sable antelope, Nyala and not forgetting all the smaller creatures, critters and bird life.
Conducted daily, year round in the mornings at 07:00 and in the afternoon at 15:30. The tour will start from the Activity Hub where guests will commence on a 15 minute transfer to the middle of Letsatsing Game Park.
DURATION: 2½ hours MINIMUM: 4 MAXIMUM: 20 guests per session COST: R420 per adult R210 per child (under 16 years)
*Please note: This is a child-friendly activity, however, children up to 12 years must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
SCHEDULED GAME DRIVES Scheduled game drives depart daily, early morning and late afternoon into the picturesque Pilanesberg National Park. Departure times differ throughout the year according to the season.
DURATION: 3 hours COST: R660 per person - adult / R330 per person – child under 16 years
EXCLUSIVE GAME DRIVES Our exclusive game drives depart daily, either in the early morning or afternoon. The activity includes beverages. The emphasis of this tour is to locate as many of the natural inhabitants of the park as possible.
DURATION: 5 hours COST: R9600 per vehicle (maximum 7 people per vehicle)
PRIVATE GAME DRIVES Groups or individuals can request a private vehicle, which can depart whenever the party requires. Departure from any of the hotels at Sun City Resort or for day visitors’ departure from Bakubung Gate.
DURATION: 3 hours COST: R6500 (1 - 10 people per vehicle) R11800 (11 - 25 people per vehicle)
GROUP GAME DRIVES Group game drives are available daily in our 25 seater open game drive vehicles to explore the Pilanesberg National Park. The group can decide on the departure time to suit their needs.

GAME DRIVE & PILANESBERG BREAKFAST / LUNCH / DINNER Join us for a safari adventure including a meal at a venue within the Pilanesberg National Park. The return journey after the dinner experience is aided with spot lights allowing guests the opportunity to view some nocturnal wildlife.

MOUNTAIN BIKING The mountain bike route consists of rocky terrain, rivulets and mountainous terrain that is not too steep.
The route covers a distance of 9.7 km through a private game park situated in the Sun City Resort bordering the Pilanesberg National Park. It is a 700Ha reserve with plenty of wildlife such as Wildebeest, Impala, Sable, Zebra, Giraffe, Warthogs, Nyala, Kudu and much more, not to forget about all the smaller creatures, critters and bird life.

*Please note: A degree of physical fitness is required. Excludes day visitor entrance fee into Sun City and Valley of the Waves. No lead person, the rider will go on the route without any guidance.
CHIMP & ZEE ROPE ADVENTURE PARK Rope adventure parks are made up of individual elevated obstacles or challenges interconnected to form exciting adventure courses. These courses are typically made up of various ‘elements’ – from high balancing beams, speedy zip lines, hanging spider nets to jungle rope bridges and much more.
This activity will be conducted daily, year round and operating hours are from 09:00 until 18:00. The duration of the activity will be approximately 45 minutes. The activity departure point is from the Valley of the Waves.
DURATION: 45 minute session COST: R210-per person MINIMUM HEIGHT: 1.2 meters MAXIMUM WEIGHT: 120kg
*Please note: Excludes day visit entrance fees into Sun City and Valley of the Waves. A degree of physical fitness is required but if you can run up a flight of stairs, you should be fine.
THE WALLOW The Wallow is a lunch and dinner venue for groups and is situated at the picturesque and serene Letsatsing Game Reserve. It is the old venue for our now discontinued Elephant Back Safaris & Interactions and has been revamped and converted to a catered venue. A mere 20 minutes transfer from Sun City hotels. Visitors are likely to see giraffe, zebra, impala and other animals from the vantage point of the deck overlooking the watering hole. DURATION: ±4 hours

Marimba Band Keep your guests entertained at their event with the rhythm of the Marimba. The marimba is a percussion instrument consisting of a set of wooden bars struck with mallets to produce musical tones. QUAD BIKING Join us for a quad biking adventure trail through the Letsatsing Game Park accompanied by experienced guides, with the possibility of seeing Rhino, Giraffe and other animal species. LEETO-KGOLO VILLAGE TOUR Explore the rich and dynamic history of Bakgatla-Ba-Kgafela tribe, the people of Pilanesberg. This exciting tour takes you to four Bakgatla heritage sites combined with a travel through the village on bicycles. The route has some off-road experience and mountainous tar road and includes stops at the cemetery of the first missionaries to arrive in Moruleng in the 1800’s, a stop at Kgosi Kgamanyane’s wall, a local shebeen/tuck shop for some refreshments and interaction with the locals, the first non-missionary school, the rain making rock. Followed with a stop at “Tshilong” where guests will get a traditional beer welcome drink and learn about traditional food preparations and get hands on involved in the process. Afterwards the tour will end at TT’s for traditional pap, veggies, meat and a soft drink before heading back to Sun City.
